Color Country Equestrian Club Show Safety Rules

In order to provide the safest possible environment for all horses and riders, as an exhibitor you will be required to abide the following guidelines at all CCEC managed or sponsored horse shows. Failure to follow these rules will result in your elimination from the show and loss of show points. The Show Manager has final say in all decisions of rule enforcement.
  1. ) All English riders must wear an properly fastened approved safety helmet when mounted.
  1. ) All riders must sit properly astride their horse with both feet in the stirrups while mounted (unless asked by the judge to remove feet from stirrups during a class).
  1. ) Riders may not be mounted at anytime while inside the barn.
  1. ) Only one rider at a time may be mounted on any horse.
  1. ) No horse is to be tied by his reins.
  1. ) Abusive behavior towards a horse will not be tolerated at anytime for any reason.
  2. ) Horses who kick MUST wear a red ribbon in their tails when on the show grounds.
  1. ) No children are allowed in the back gate area unless accompanied by an adult at all times.
  1. ) Only horses entering or exiting a class may be in the back gate area. Riders waiting for a class must stay clear of the back gate alley.
    9.) Trainers, parents, spectators and well-wishers are not allowed in the back gate alley.
