Please note the following for Open Breed Shows:

  • Remember that you must show in 4 out of the 5 shows  to qualify for Year End Awards!
  • Also for Year End points, you must show at least 4 times throughout the year, in each particular class to qualify.
  • Walk/Trot is now for 2 years, if the rider needs the second year before they show canter/lope for all ages.
  • For the 2010 show year, the walk/trot classes will be divided by 17 & under AND 18 & over.
  • Trail is in another arena and under another judge.  The time for trail is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Western classes will be held at the beginning of the day. English to Follow afterwards. Jumping classes are after English on the flat.
  • Stalls are now being taken care of by the show manager.  Please include the costs on your check for your stalls and shavings.
  • It is still illegal to have a four beat canter.  These horses will not be placed in a class.
  • Please fill out a Medical Emergency Release form and give it to the Show Office so we can have it on file for the year.
  • Remember to have your membership current for the 2010 show season!!!
  • CCEC allows you to change horses and keep your points towards year end ONLY if your initial horse you started showing the year with passes away.
  • As always walk/trot riders may not compete in any of the walk/trot/lope classes at that show and may not lope or canter anywhere at the show.
